O'Neil Transport was founded in 1965 by Laurie & Carmel O'Neil at Wallace, a small town just outside the city of Ballarat, Victoria. Laurie's focus was servicing the local area, which relied heavily on fresh produce, efficiently and reliably. Running daily in and out of the Melbourne markets, in and around Bendigo and various packing facilities, the business quickly established itself as a major carrier in the area.

In the early eighties, O'Neil Transport began its’ interstate operations, servicing the needs of Ballarat's local manufacturing sector including Laminex Industries, Yellowglen Winery, Wallace Dairy and national manufacturer ACI Glass.

Today, 40 years on, under the management of Laurie's Son Tony, the Company boasts a modern fleet of B-Doubles that service Australia nationally on a daily basis, with terminals in Ballarat, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. Supported by a highly motivated and professional staff and a strong commitment to our IT Systems, the company has firmly established itself as a major player in the transport sector.
